Do I need a visa?

The U.S. State Department does not indicate that U.S. citizens traveling to Israel for stays of up to 90 days from their date of arrival need a visa, but like all visitors, you must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months from the date you are departing the country. The two mandatory travel documents for anyone traveling to Israel are: Passport - Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of your arrival in Israel. If it’s not, make sure to renew your passport before traveling to Israel. Departure Ticket - You must also have a valid departure ticket out of the country within 3 months, unless you have a longer term visa before you arrive. Is it a hop off/hop on experience in all the cities?

The experience is not focused on hopping on and off at sites, but rather spending more quality time at the sites visited. At times, instead of hoping back on the bus you will walk to the next site, especially in Jerusalem. Some days there will be a few stops.

Will there be extra time to do excursions?

The only days where that is possible are the days with Leisure time specified. The only other possibility is Day 3 when you arrive in Jerusalem, there may be some time in the evening, but not much. All other days will be long and can leave travelers very tired.
